What is Promoting?
A Lincolnshire Rural Touring promoter is involved with all the activities related to running professional performances in their local venue and encouraging people to attend the shows.
Being a promoter can be varied, interesting, and lots of fun. However it needs someone motivated to initiate activities and encourage people at a local level. Promoting is often led by one person and can be very successful. However, a group of volunteers spreads the load, with different people taking on different responsibilities. This could include anything from greeting the performers and distributing show publicity to stewarding and selling tickets on the night.
